We don’t know about you but we are really feeling the change of seasons. The mornings have a familiar bite of cold. The leaves are getting that first, subtle touch of color at the tips. The boys’ homework and soccer commitments are getting serious. And of course, the Halloween decorations are out (briefly, before we get the Christmas onslaught) in the stores. Autumn is one of our favorite seasons. The crisp mornings and evenings bracketing pleasant, deep blue-sky days are like our last gasp to enjoy the outdoors before we break out the coats, hats and gloves. 
Transition seasons at FWB mean “new beers and wines” of course. This year we tried a “coffee beer” which is on tap in limited supply. And in October we’ll have our fan favorite Apple Pie Wine and the Mulled Spiced Wine (no bottles yet, those come in November) at the Art Show/Beer & Wine Tasting/Harvest Party on Wednesday Oct. 8. As a BONUS: we are releasing “Paterson Pum Silly” a pumpkin ale that was a collaboration brew with local home brewer (and friend) Nick Paterson at this event!
